What will you be doing?

Role Purpose

The Chief Operating Officer will be a Member of the Management Board of Finora Bank, responsible for designing, formalizing, and continuously improving the Bank’s operating model to ensure scalable growth, operational efficiency, and disciplined execution in a regulated environment.


The COO will serve as the central driver of execution architecture, ensuring that technology, operations, and product delivery function as an integrated and efficient system aligned with the Bank’s strategic development.


Operational System Leadership

  • Establish and maintain an effective, end-to-end operating framework across the Bank
  • Institutionalize clear process ownership, accountability, and measurable efficiency improvements
  • Drive optimization of cost structure, processing timelines, and operational productivity
  • Ensure operational readiness and reliability in support of regulatory and business requirements


Technology, Automation & Scalability

  • Provide strategic direction for technology enablement in close cooperation with IT leadership
  • Lead the implementation of automation initiatives to reduce manual dependency and enhance straight-through processing
  • Ensure systems and processes are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with long-term business growth
  • Promote disciplined adoption of digital tools, data, and AI-driven efficiency solutions where appropriate


Product & Execution Integration

  • Ensure operational feasibility and scalability of financial products and services
  • Align product implementation with process efficiency, capital discipline, and customer usability
  • Introduce structured governance for new initiatives, including clear evaluation, prioritization, and execution controls


Platform Development & Partnerships Enablement

  • Ensure the Bank’s operational infrastructure supports partnerships, embedded finance models, and cross-border activities
  • Safeguard operational, regulatory, and financial discipline when introducing new integrations or initiatives
  • Drive alignment and interoperability between Finora Bank and Finora Group processes and systems


Governance & Performance Oversight

  • Build a culture of ownership, execution discipline, and continuous improvement
  • Define and monitor structural KPIs related to efficiency, automation, and processing performance
  • Provide transparent reporting on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior governance bodies
  • Ensure clear escalation frameworks and decision-making accountability


What will help you succeed?

Experience & Background

  • Senior leadership experience within a regulated financial services institution
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling technology-enabled operations
  • Demonstrated success improving structural efficiency, productivity, and cost discipline
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, systems integration, and process governance
  • Experience in digital banking, fintech, or complex financial platforms is highly desirable
  • University degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field is required (in line with Management Board qualification expectations).
  • A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is considered an advantage.
