CREDIT RISK MODELLER
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement credit risk models (e.g., Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD)).
- Ensure models comply with IFRS 9 and other regulatory requirements.
- Validate model assumptions, back-test models, and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct stress testing to assess how economic downturns impact credit risk.
- Continuously monitor loan portfolio performance to detect early signs of deterioration.
- Track key risk indicators such as delinquency rates, default trends, and concentration risks.
- Prepare regulatory and internal reports on credit risk.
What will help you succeed?
- Master’s degree or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with PD, LGD, EAD models, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Hands-on expertise with IFRS 9 framework.
- Expertise in monitoring loan portfolio performance and identifying early warning signs.
- In-depth understanding of credit risk regulations (e.g., Basel III, IFRS 9) and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Advanced data analytics & programming skills.
