What will you be doing?
Operational Leadership & Execution
Lead and develop Finora’s Operations function across four core areas:
- Client Operations & Onboarding – customer onboarding, document management, KYC process execution
- Transaction Processing & Payments – SEPA payments, Internet Bank support, reconciliations
- Credit Operations – factoring, leasing, and loan administration
- Deposit Operations – deposit account management
You will manage a team of specialists, set clear performance standards, conduct regular reviews, and build operational scalability to support Finora’s continued growth.
Core Banking & ERP Ownership
- Oversee daily execution across payments, loan administration, account management, and customer data management
- Ensure accurate transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting
- Manage factoring and leasing operations within ERP (NAV / Business Central or similar), including deal processing, contract administration, and financial flows
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to optimize system configurations and resolve operational issues
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and new releases
- Continuously improve system workflows for efficiency and compliance
Process Design & Operational Excellence
- Design, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce operational risk and manual workload
- Define and track operational KPIs (SLA adherence, turnaround time, error rate, NPS)
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational incidents and implement corrective actions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product to ensure operational readiness for launches
- Work closely with IT to ensure system stability and vendor performance
- Coordinate with Finance on reconciliations and financial controls
- Support Customer Support in handling escalations and complex cases
Incident & Business Continuity Management
- Lead operational incident response (system outages, payment failures, data discrepancies)
- Ensure continuity planning and regulatory compliance standards are upheld
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular operational performance reports to the direct manager and Management Board
- Present operational metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with regulators, auditors, and external vendors when required
What will help you succeed?
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Information Systems, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- 3–5+ years of progressive banking operations experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Hands-on experience with core banking systems (Temenos T24, Mambu, Nano, Tuum, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision, SAP, or similar)
- Experience managing multi-functional operations teams within a regulated financial institution
- Experience in a digital bank, fintech, or payment institution is highly desirable
- Experience with payment systems (SEPA, SWIFT, CentroLink) and Internet Banking platforms
Technical & Professional Skills
- Deep understanding of end-to-end banking operations: onboarding, payments, lending, deposits
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills for operational reporting
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com) and documentation platforms (Confluence, Notion)
