Finora Bank strengthens leadership and sharpens focus on business performance
October 20, 2026
Following a period of substantial growth, Finora Bank is strengthening its leadership and organisational capabilities, with renewed emphasis on operational efficiency, financial discipline and the development of SME financing. The changes are part of a broader leadership transition across Finora Group.
Mangirdas Kireilis, previously Finora Bank’s Chief Business Officer and head of its Estonian branch, has taken over the leadership of Finora group.
“Finora Bank more than tripled its loan portfolio during 2025. This reflects strong demand for SME financing solutions in Lithuania and Estonia. Now, Finora Bank is entering a new stage of development with a renewed executive leadership team and a stronger focus on business performance, strengthening financial and organisational discipline, and operational efficiency,” said Kireilis.
The Group’s Management Board also includes Šarūnas Gerasimavičius and Simonas Skaržauskas. The broader Bank leadership team also includes Darius Buzys, Chief Risk Officer and a member of Finora Bank’s Management Board.
The leadership transition follows decisions taken by Finora’s respective Supervisory Boards and builds on the experience of executives already closely involved in the Bank’s development.
“Over recent years, we have built a substantial banking business and gained valuable experience in financing SMEs. Our focus now is on bringing our capabilities together more effectively and strengthening financial and operational performance. We want Finora to become a more focused, efficient and capable institution,” said Kireilis.
Kireilis emphasised that strengthening the organisation is ultimately about improving the services Finora provides to its customers.
“Our ambition remains to help small and medium-sized businesses access practical, flexible and trustworthy financing. Stronger execution, better coordination and a more efficient organisation will help us serve our customers better and build Finora sustainably for the future,” said the new leader of Finora Group.
Finora Bank is owned by the Estonian holding company AS Finora Group, which has more than 40 investors across Europe. Finora Bank UAB, licensed by the European Central Bank, is registered in Lithuania and is authorised to operate as a bank throughout the European Union.
